$ the promises we keep

Honest, all the way down.

Something that touches your face, your love life, and your confidence owes you its promises in writing. These are load-bearing — they live in the engine, the labels, and the pricing, not just on this page.

If kishi ever nudged you to be someone you’re not, we’d have failed. The whole bet is the opposite: that the real you, shown with a bit of care, is more than enough.

authenticity

AI renders are references, never profile photos.

Every render with your likeness carries a visible label and exists for one reason: planning a real shoot — poses, light, outfits. Dating apps verify faces, and a profile built on a face that isn’t yours falls apart at the first hello. We’ll never market, suggest, or wink at using generated images on a dating profile. The Pro tier points you toward a real camera, not deeper into AI.

likeness honesty

“Resemblance” and “likeness” are different words on purpose.

A render from one selfie resembles you; a model trained on a proper selfie set comes closer to likeness. We label which is which, everywhere it appears. If a render doesn’t look like you, regenerating it is free — overpromising a transformation is how this whole category goes sour.

well-being

No scores. No “flaws”. No looksmaxxing.

kishi never rates your face, ranks you against anyone, or sells you insecurity. Your kit starts from what’s already working — plus a few evidence-backed things that help, only if you want them. If any line in your kit reads like shame, that’s a bug: tell us and we’ll fix the engine, not just the sentence.

medical honesty

We surface options. Clinicians make the calls.

Where the evidence points toward medicine — hair-loss treatment, skin actives — your kit names the options, the evidence, and the exact questions to bring to a doctor or dermatologist, including interaction checks with anything you take. It never doses, never diagnoses, and never stands in for care.

grounding

Real places, real stores, real prices — or nothing.

Every place is researched and carries a verified-date; every product links to a real store we actually priced. Where we haven’t researched a city yet, you get honest finders, not invented specifics. Found somewhere closed or gone? One tap flags it and we re-check the pack.

privacy

Your face is not training data.

Faces are processed only with your explicit consent, stored encrypted and separately, auto-deleted after generation, never used to train models, and deletable by you at any moment. Comfort signals are optional, kept to a minimum, and shape only gentle accommodations. Full detail on the privacy page.

scope honesty

Honest about how deep our research goes.

kishi asks who you are and who you’re hoping to meet, then builds for both — everyone, anywhere. What’s universal (color, fit, care, getting seen, the way connection actually works) is yours regardless; where today’s deepest research has followed one group so far (men dating women), your kit says so plainly rather than pretending. It grows, group by researched group — never one playbook stretched over everyone.
